The Story Behind the Mark: More Than Just a Logo

The Story Behind the Mark: More Than Just a Logo

When I founded Curated Pawleys, I knew the visual identity of the shop had to be as intentional as the furnishings we carry. I wanted a symbol that acted as a promise—a quiet reminder of our commitment to homes that are Distinctly You and always Inspired by the Coast.

If you look closely at our house logo, you’ll see three distinct elements woven together. Each one tells a part of the story of how we design and how we live.

The Fingerprint: Distinctly You

At the center of our home icon is a fingerprint. In the world of design, it is easy to get swept up in mass-produced trends, but I believe no two homes should ever be the same. Just as no two thumbprints are identical, your space should be a unique reflection of your life and history. The fingerprint represents the personal mark you leave on your sanctuary—the "Distinctly You" element that makes a house a home.

The Waves: Inspired by the Coast

Flowing through the base of the home are the waves. This is our nod to the coastal landscape that surrounds us. It represents the movement, the soft palettes and the relaxed pace of Pawleys Island. We aren't about coastal clichés; we are about a refined, enduring connection to the water and the light that defines our region.

The Home: Your Sanctuary

Finally, the structure of the house holds these elements together. It represents the sanctuary where your personality and your environment meet. Whether we are helping you with a single room refresh or a full "design road map," our goal is to ensure that the final result feels like an exhale—a place where quality matters and you can live beautifully over time.

Bringing the Mark to Life

You’ll see this symbol throughout our shop, on our Curated Pawleys Gift Cards, and on the pieces we hand-select for you. It’s our seal of quality and a reminder that good design should always feel personal and livable.

Next time you visit us, I hope you see that house, those waves, and that fingerprint as an invitation to leave your own mark on your space.

Welcome to The Curated Life.
